Aegan is the first film directed by RajuSundaram which shows. It’s a remake of Hindi film Main Hoon Na with some changes in storyline and screenplay. The baseline of the story is that the hero goes an undercover (student) to nab a witness, who runs from police custody, when attacked by criminals.

Ajith’s introduction as a cop is not up to the mark with a long beard and could not find the out reason why he has it. The director has tried to increase the pace of the film by having some fight scenes in the opening but going in vain. Suman the villain of the story acts to be a terror which makes everyone to laugh. One of the worst performances (as the film has more worse performance).

Haneefa is another blade to the film. Comedy scenes between Jeyaram, who acts as the principal of the college and Sathyan, the attendant is horrible and irrelevant. I don’t know how the director thought that these can make the audiences laugh. Only mental can laugh for these scenes.

Music is worse. Nayanthara shows some grace and charm in songs but her acting is not impressive. Undoubtedly pathetic performance by Ajith and the film has no life.
